A Whiskey-Neat Winter Celebration at Cedar Lakes Estate

SociaLife founder Kelly and her husband Ryan were married on a snowy February day at Cedar Lakes Estate, embracing winter in a way that felt cozy, meaningful, and deeply personal. Their weekend began with an Irish-themed welcome dinner that transformed the Pavilion into a warm, pub-inspired gathering space. Named in honor of their late dog, Jameson, the evening featured romantic lighting, knit blankets, fireside s’mores, witty signage, and the groom’s favorite smoky Old Fashioneds—setting a heartfelt and celebratory tone for the weekend ahead.

Guests awoke to a true winter wonderland, spending the day enjoying the property’s seasonal activities like skating and curling, followed by a comforting lunch of nostalgic favorites, including tomato soup and grilled cheese. The ceremony took place at sunset beneath snow-covered pines by the frozen lake, where guests bundled in faux-fur blankets and were welcomed by the distant sound of a solo bagpiper. Inside the barn, an interior-driven design came to life with a custom paneled band backdrop, hanging black pendant lamps, and minimalist white florals that complemented the cozy winter palette. The celebration concluded with a spirited ’90s-themed after-party, where guests dressed the part and danced the night away—an unforgettable ending to a weekend filled with warmth, memory, and joy.
