A Playful, Pink-Forward Wedding at Cedar Lakes Estate

Maggie and Adam’s rainy June wedding weekend at Cedar Lakes Estate proved that joy—and color—shine brightest regardless of the forecast. Lovingly dubbed the “Barbie wedding,” the celebration began with a private rehearsal dinner on the barn patio beneath a signature Sperry sailcloth tent. Tables were styled with vibrant yellow and orange florals layered with rattan details, while greenery climbed the tent poles to create a whimsical garden feel. As fog rolled across the property, Maggie and Adam enjoyed a private photo session followed by a champagne tower toast. The evening continued with a lively welcome party in the Pavilion, where the bride’s sister’s company, Toastworthy, served drinks from a vintage Airstream bar as guests gathered around the fire for dessert and music.

The following morning began with a peaceful yoga session on the treehouse deck as rain gently fell, followed by spirited color wars beneath the tent. The lakeside ceremony featured custom-designed pedestals in assorted modern shapes, each topped with florals that echoed the aisle arrangements. Rain paused just long enough for an emotional ceremony before guests were ushered into cocktail hour on the tented barn patio, where a contemporary, colorful lounge and a record-inspired escort display—highlighting the groom’s favorite albums—set the tone. Inside the barn, guests were greeted by a dramatic fabric installation in ombré shades of pink overhead. Low, vibrant centerpieces allowed the ceiling to take center stage, while a pink band backdrop, white dance floor, and even hot pink, orange, and yellow napkins completed the look. The result was a bold, joyful celebration that perfectly reflected Maggie and Adam’s bright personalities.
