A Lakeside Summer Hindu Wedding at Cedar Lakes Estate

Roma and Neil celebrated a vibrant four-day Indian wedding weekend in June at Cedar Lakes Estate, filled with tradition, joy, and heartfelt moments. The festivities began with a private welcome dinner in the Pavilion featuring a wood-fired pizza truck and pasta station, where guests mingled, received henna, and danced late into the evening. The following morning, guests gathered lakeside for the Haldi ceremony—a meaningful ritual in which a paste of turmeric, oil, and water is applied to the couple to offer blessings, purification, and good fortune. After the ceremony, Roma and Neil joyfully jumped into the lake in full attire before changing for the next events, while guests enjoyed a relaxed lunch on property.

Later that day, the Baraat procession unfolded just as rain began to fall, with guests comfortably seated beneath a clear Navi-Trac tent as the celebration continued uninterrupted. Roma and Neil exchanged vows beneath a beautifully adorned mandap before joining their guests for dinner. The following day offered time to unwind by the lake before transitioning into a traditional cocktail hour, Sangeet, and reception. The reception design featured soft white florals, tall greenery branches, and a crisp white dance floor that brightened the warm wood interior of the barn. Guests were treated to heartfelt performances by family and friends before dancing late into the night during both the reception and after-party. Throughout the weekend, Roma and Neil were surrounded by immense love, laughter, and support—an unforgettable celebration rooted in tradition and joy.
