A Design-Driven Spring Celebration at Cedar Lakes Estate
Max and Gabby’s Memorial Day weekend wedding at Cedar Lakes Estate was a joyful welcome to summer, filled with vibrant florals and cheerful blue accents that mirrored the bright skies overhead. A creative force herself, Gabby designed all of the weekend’s stationery—from invitations to menus—adding a deeply personal touch to every detail. Guests arrived on-site and gathered for a relaxed welcome dinner in the Pavilion, where tables featured lush red florals—Gabby’s favorite color—layered with lime green textures and playful tomato accents. As the evening cooled, heartfelt speeches and fireside s’mores set a warm, intimate tone for the weekend ahead.
The following morning began with indoor yoga as cool temperatures lingered, before guests warmed up with spirited field day games on the sports field. Max and Gabby shared an intimate first look before capturing portraits on the mountaintop and throughout the property. At the ceremony, guests were welcomed by a meaningful family tree display featuring photos of Max and Gabby’s ancestors on their wedding days—a touching tribute woven into the celebration. Their whimsical, garden-inspired ceremony glowed at sunset beside the lake, followed by cocktail hour in the Pavilion, where guests received personalized cassette tapes featuring songs chosen just for them—each linked to Spotify for easy listening. Inside the barn, the reception burst with summer color, showcasing pastel florals in peach, orange, cream, chartreuse, and pink against teal linens and a coordinating band backdrop. The dance floor filled instantly, and the energy never dipped—an unforgettable reflection of the love surrounding Max and Gabby all weekend long.
